Project Build Process

Here at Steel Concepts we strive to build you the best sign for your business. Whether you have a 12 inch sign or a 60 foot sign, we can fabricate just about anything you need at our shop and install it on your premises. You dream it, we build it! Check out our build process below...

CONVERSATION/ROUGH SKETCH

Here we take your idea (i.e. drawing, samples, talk points, logo) and convert it in to a rough sketch or outline to make sure everyone is relatively on the same page. Materials, size, paint, timeline etc are all discussed during this stage.

ESTIMATE

This is where we take the rough sketch and turn it in to a project design document complete with rough specs, product rendering and relative timing to complete the project. For larger projects, we may need to conduct a site visit prior to estimate completion.

DESIGN STAGE

Once the estimate is completed and signed off on by the client, we set out to build critical detailed specs and drawings to ensure integrtiy of the build and install processes. Great care is taken to ensure a long lasting product is provided to the client.

FABRICATION

Here is where the pedal gets put to the metal. We take the design specs and begin the fabrication process. During this process we communicate frequently with the client. Pictures, text messages and phone calls to discuss progress are critical to ensuring a smooth build.

QUALITY CONTROL

Paint and the final touches are added to the sign as it comes off the fabrication line. Lights, mounts, and packing are all steps being performed here. One last inspection and comparison to the design document is reviewed to ensure all aspects of the build have been met.

INSTALL

We are headed to the finish line... First we coordinate when will be the best time for the install. Then we transport the sign (along with our install equipment) to your location. Here we assemble and install your sign onsite using tried and true install processes to ensure a long life for your sign.
